It is conceivable that talking about democracy and elections on the basis of such popular wisdom may indeed be a bit irrelevant. But who is to blame? Blame the ignorance of the people? Who gave the green light to their ignorance?

Now, this has become an excuse for some people to think that China cannot engage in democracy like some western countries. From the practice of the world, we can really see that democracy will reach what level the people's democratic literacy reaches. It is an inevitable process that countries that embark on the road of democracy at first will inevitably present some confusion at first. Moving towards formal and mature democracy is a challenge for any country. However, ethnic groups that do not accept this challenge may face greater risks in the future.

Without the power of public participation, supervision and authorization, it will inevitably infringe on the interests of the public. Of course, democracy cannot cure all diseases, and countries that practice democracy also have many problems. China also needs to explore its own path and establish its own model to implement democracy, but whether democracy is a good thing or a bad thing should be distinguished.

Would you rather spend your time on a fair national election or on a distant petition?
