This is our first trip to Yunnan. Although we often hear that people are trapped when traveling to Yunnan and the tour guide forces us to shop, we can't stop being curious about the beautiful Yunnan.
I didn't expect this trip to give me a big surprise.
First, the impression of the tour group.
From picking up the plane to arranging accommodation, from catering to arranging scenic spots, and finally sending them to the station, all links are closely linked. The tour guide and the staff of the pick-up group arrange activities very well, and will call to remind them before the time node.
Second, the impression of the tour guide.
Two tour guides, Arnold and Ali, were arranged throughout the trip, which was very experienced. Along the way, they attached great importance to safety issues and often urged us to fasten our seat belts. Arnold will also take everyone to do a few actions before leaving every morning to help them check their personal belongings.
The tour guide explained Yunnan's customs, ethnic characteristics and regional development, which made me more familiar with this area. In addition, the tour guides are all stage actors and are good at telling stories. No matter whether the story is true or not, it can really touch some inner feelings, such as affection, love, sense of justice and so on.
Although their main purpose is to promote Yunnan's products: jade, Huang Longyu, Pu 'er tea, flower cake and snowflake silver, I don't dislike it at all. Tourism depends on various local resources. Tour guides are tourists' guides and city salesmen. As long as they don't buy and sell hard, it is reasonable. Coupled with the country's vigorous efforts to rectify Yunnan's tourism industry, it is said that the salary of tour guides is now divorced from the amount of tourists' consumption, and there will be no strong buying and selling. Of course, the tour guide will also act as an agent for some products, which can be purchased directly, of course, it is not mandatory. I bought some flower cakes for my family through the tour guide.
Third, the impression of the city.
The natural environment of the four cities I went to is very good, and both the city and the ancient town are clean and tidy. The air here is fresh, the sky is blue, the clouds are white and the water is clear. Just taking pictures is beautiful. During the trip, I couldn't help but pick up my mobile phone and take crazy pictures of the sky, mountains and streets.
Fourth, the impression of people.
The Yi nationality in Chuxiong, the girl named Ashima and the boy named Haig; Dali Bai nationality, the girl named Jinhua and the boy named Peng Ge; The Naxi nationality in Lijiang, the girl is called Fat Jinmei and the boy is called Fat Jinguo.
The tour guide said that the ethnic minorities in Yunnan attach great importance to the population because of its small population, so the status of women is higher than that of men. Women do farm work and be housekeepers at home, while men do carving: wood carving, stone carving, silver carving and plum carving. Except for the Bai nationality, all other ethnic groups regard black as beauty, because black represents hard work, so the darker the more beautiful, the more capable it is.
When we returned to Kunming, we met a family at Lijiang Station, which really made me feel the hardships of Yunnan people. It happened to be dinner when I got off the bus. Two black and thin children came up to us and greeted us warmly for dinner. Seeing that such a young child is so sensible, several of us went to his shop. There are four children in the shop, two boys and two girls, all around the age of 1 1. They all serve guests, order food, clean and serve food, all by running and walking. At first, I was surprised that the child was too diligent. Later, I found out that their parents were the same.
V. Impression of the product
Yunnan is rich in products.
First, non-ferrous metal deposits are abundant, especially snowflake silver. Its silver content is very high, all above 97.5%. And after the introduction of the tour guide, I feel that snowflake silver is like a holy medicine for treating diseases. Snow silver is made into teapots, teacups, bowls, chopsticks, cups, jewelry and so on. As a big selling point.
Secondly, this is the window for Burmese jadeite to enter China, and it is also the origin of Huang Longyu, the descendant of Baoyu. Baoyu is really pleasing to the eye. Of course, the more beautiful the appearance, the more beautiful the price.
Thirdly, besides the prestigious Pu 'er tea, there are all kinds of teas. I drink: caravan tea, daughter tea and bitter buckwheat tea.
Fourthly, yak meat is abundant here, and beef jerky is a major feature here, which tastes very good. Actually, I feel like a kind of beef jerky.
Fifth, the carving level here is very high. There are four major carvings in Yunnan: wood carving, stone carving, silver carving and plum carving. There are many ancient or antique buildings in Yunnan, and there are also some wooden structures in modern buildings, which are lifelike and very beautiful. Needless to say, stone carvings and silver carvings, various jade jewelry objects and silverware are the best examples. As a snack in Yunnan, plum carving is also very famous. The painting art accompanying the carving level is also good.
Sixth, as a plateau mountain area, there are many kinds of wild fungi, which is also a local selling point.
Sixth, food impression.
Although in the south, but located in the plateau, there are many kinds of crops, such as wheat, rice, corn, soybeans, potatoes and so on. The local people's diet is mainly sour and spicy, and cooking is mainly roast and fried. Special snacks include: crossing the bridge rice noodles, baked potatoes, all kinds of bait shreds, bait cakes, preserved ribs and so on.
VII. Cultural impression
There are many ethnic minorities in Yunnan. The places I visited this time are Wei Chu, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture and Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, and all ethnic groups have their own customs. Generally speaking, women are superior to men.
In the Bai nationality, girls in Baotou all have romantic images, and the long spike representing the wind is something that men can't touch casually. Because touching long ears represents confession, boys have to work as coolies in girls' homes for three years. After three years, girls will get married if they want, and let boys go if they don't agree.
Among the Naxi people, the Mosuo people living by Lugu Lake are a matriarchal clan. They have no formal marriage, and they have no marriage registration. During the day, they live in their respective parents' homes, and at night, the male lover lives in the female lover's house, and the children born are raised by the female family. Although not registered, this marriage may be more faithful.
In a word, this trip to Yunnan made me see a clean, tidy, warm and friendly Yunnan. I want to give Yunnan a compliment.
Finally, I want to make some personal thoughts and excuses about the negative views on Yunnan in the past. First, people are animals in groups. With more people, there will be all kinds of people, good and bad, and we can't generalize. Second, Yunnan people are not necessarily native Yunnan people, and most of them are foreigners who do business. So you can't blame the whole Yunnan for some negative things. Third, there are many simple people in Yunnan and there are many positive stories every day. Don't stare at negative news.
Travel makes me happy, and travel makes me see. This trip was a great success, and I hope it will be better next time.
