Professor Sun Pengzi is the academic leader of the Institute of Clothing and Textile. The main research direction is carding theory and technology research. Professor Zhang Ping worked in Dandong No.2 Cotton Textile Factory as the technical section chief 10 year. He has practical experience in production technology, quality management and design. In the teaching process, he can vividly apply production practice, combine theory, properly explain professional courses, and apply simulated on-site teaching to teaching, which has been well received by previous students.

Associate Professor Zhang Mingguang's research direction is the design and performance of woven filter cloth. He presided over the formulation of the woven filter cloth standard of China Textile Industry Association, completed the scientific research project of "Information System for Performance Inquiry of Domestic Commonly Used Filter Media", and developed and designed a number of distinctive woven filter cloths, which filled the domestic blank and brought more than 50 million yuan in profits and taxes to related enterprises.
