If a senior brother wants to convert, many monasteries can grant him the right to convert. There is no distinction between men and women in conversion, as long as they are willing to convert to the three treasures of Buddhism, dharma and monks with sincere respect! Conversion is not becoming a monk, so men and women can convert together! Senior brother can first find out where there is a Dharma Hall nearby, and find a master who has no desire and wants to convert him. Many monasteries and conversion ceremonies have their own specific dates, so you can know them in advance before making a decision!

Brother is right. Before we convert, we need to know something about Buddhism! After thoroughly understanding Buddhism, when you convert again, you will be more sincere, firm and clear!

Brother, to learn Buddhism, you must first know that what Buddhism says is basic and core. No matter what method you practice, these are the foundations! These include:

Four thoughts: the view of the body is not clean, the view is bitter, the view of the heart is impermanent, and the view of the law is not me! Four thoughts place is a very practical practice method. If you can observe the truth in turn and understand it deeply, you will see through all the falsehood and inversion, and you will certainly get rid of the six ways!

Three dharma seals: all things are impermanent, all laws have no self, and nirvana is silent! Sanfa Seal is the standard and basis for the Buddha to verify Buddhism with us in the last days.

Eight right paths: right view, right thinking, right language, right career, right life, right diligence, right thinking and positive determination! Eight right paths are the order and order of practice summarized by the Buddha for us. These eight roads were born in turn. If we want to learn Buddhism, we must first have a right view, and only when we have a right view can we have mindfulness. Only positive thinking can produce positive language, positive career and positive life. With a positive life, you are really trying to make progress, otherwise, there is no positive direction, even if you try to make progress again, it is still a drop in the bucket! Can't lead mindfulness, can't be positive!

Four stops: relying on wisdom instead of knowledge, knowing righteousness instead of words, relying on people according to law, relying on righteousness instead of righteousness. If you can deeply understand these four things and follow them truthfully, you can ensure that you will not go astray and fall into a dangerous pit!
