The discipline of information countermeasure technology is separated from the former national key discipline signal and information processing, circuit and system. Approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee in 2000, he became the first batch of undergraduate majors in information countermeasure technology. He was awarded a doctorate in 2003.
