From March 2005 to June 2006, 65438+February, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Medicine, University of Ottawa, Canada, mainly engaged in the research of tissue engineering and non-viral transgenic vectors, and constructed a corneal substitute based on human recombinant collagen for the first time, which is expected to solve the problem of scarce corneal donors. Remarkable achievements have been made in chitosan-based carriers, nonionic transgenic carriers, stimulus-sensitive carriers and quantum dot carriers with good biocompatibility. The condensation effect of chitosan carrier on DNA was systematically studied, and the conformational changes of DNA and the topological structure changes of the complex were investigated. It is pointed out that the strong electrostatic interaction between chitosan and DNA is an important factor to limit gene expression, and thus a hydrophobically modified efficient chitosan derivative transgenic vector is constructed. A temperature-sensitive transgenic vector that can regulate gene packaging and unpacking was created, and a molecular recognition transgenic vector based on hydrogen bonding with DNA base pairs was innovatively constructed. The essence of DNA condensation is systematically studied, and the design idea of non-viral vector is expanded. A non-viral vector with high efficiency and low toxicity which can be degraded by intracellular redox was constructed, and the influence of polymer branching structure on the complex structure and intracellular buffer was revealed. A non-viral transgenic vector with low toxicity and in-situ imaging based on ZnO quantum dots and nano-diamond was designed, which expanded the application scope of ZnO quantum dots and nano-diamond. In recent years, more than 90 papers have been published in internationally renowned material journals such as advanced materials, biomaterials, advanced functional materials, biomacromolecules, J controlled release, biological conjugate chemistry, J Mater Chemistry, etc., and others have cited and commented 1800 times. He applied for 20 domestic invention patents and granted 15 patents, and won the first prize of Tianjin Natural Science (ranked second).

In 2006, he was selected into the New Century Excellent Talents Program of the Ministry of Education, and was supported by the National Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars on 20 13. Member of Chinese Chemical Society, American Chemical Society and British Chemical Industry Association.
