Good afternoon. I'm an X-level graduate student of Educational Principles in the School of Educational Sciences: X. The topic of my thesis is: Research on Paradox in Dewey's Moral Education Thought. My report is divided into five aspects: research significance, concept definition, literature review, research ideas and methods, and references. Why is this arrangement? Personally, I think that to do a research, we must first understand why research is the necessity and significance of research; Secondly, the determination of the core concepts in the research can make the research closely related to the theme, which is also the definition of concepts; Thirdly, look at how the predecessors studied this issue, that is, literature review; Then there is how to study, that is, research ideas; My research is not taken for granted, but based on references.
First of all, talk about the research significance, which can be divided into theoretical significance and practical significance. Theoretically, I think this study has two contributions. First of all, this study can improve and deepen people's understanding of Dewey's moral education thought. Secondly, this study uses the logical thinking method of paradox in logic to interpret the paradox in Dewey's moral education thought, which can expand the moral education theory. In practice, it mainly changes people's new understanding of the inefficiency of moral education. For a long time, people think that the reasons for the low effectiveness of moral education are: the politicization of moral education goals; Textbook-style moral education content; Rigid moral education methods, etc. In fact, as early as Socrates' time, the question of whether morality can be taught was discussed. If morality is regarded as knowledge, it can be taught. If morality is regarded as a virtue, it cannot be taught; This study mainly discusses the irreconcilable contradiction in moral education itself, which leads to the inefficiency of moral education. Trying to solve these contradictions by changing external conditions and solving the problem of low efficiency of moral education.
Secondly, define the concept. The paradox of moral education refers to the logical contradiction in moral education. This logical contradiction refers to the contradiction that occurs when a thing violates the requirements of the law of contradiction. So what is the law of contradiction? In Aristotle's view, the law of contradiction means that a thing that is true cannot be false at the same time; When something is false, it can't be true at the same time. So for example: my sentence is not made up of thirteen words. If it refers to other sentences that are not composed of thirteen words, it must be true; If I point to myself, my sentence consists of thirteen words. It's true; Why is it not made up of thirteen words? Said he was a fake? This is a basic semantic paradox.
Third, literature review. Because no one has studied this aspect before, I divide the literature review into two parts: Dewey's moral education thought research review and moral education paradox research review. Dewey's moral education thought can be divided into domestic research status and foreign research status. The domestic research is divided into three stages: 1. From 65,438+0,965,438+April 30, 2009, Dewey landed in China to 65,438+0,949, which is called the stage of attaching importance to learning; 2. The period from1949 to 1978 is a stage of large-scale criticism; 3. 1978 to the 1990s was a cautious and learning stage; 4. From 1990s to now, it is a brand-new stage of comprehensive and objective research. Dewey's educational thought abroad can also be divided into four stages: 1. From the establishment of 1896 Dewey Experimental School to 1957' s affirmation of the importance of Soviet satellites; The period from 1957 to 197 1 is a critical and negative stage; The 70' s and 80' s were the stage of re-evaluation and learning; Since 1980s, it has been a stage of reaffirmation, and dozens of volumes of Dewey's collected works have been published abroad. The research summary of moral education paradox is divided into five aspects: concept, cause, paradox phenomenon, paradox solution and summary.
Finally, my own research ideas and methods. I mainly read Dewey's books on philosophy: analytical philosophy, mathematical logic and linguistic logic. These books only provide research methods. The key is to analyze and compare Dewey's moral education thought with the logical thinking method of these paradoxes, analyze the logical contradictions among them, and then interpret the difficult paradoxes with clear language. The main research methods are: literature method and logical analysis method.

Today is a good day. Seven municipal-level projects declared by our Feixi No.2 Middle School Chinese Teaching and Research Group have been approved and will start today. This is a milestone in Feixi No.2 Middle School. It is a big step and a new starting point on the road of "developing schools through research and promoting teaching through research".
Due to historical reasons, our school has poor conditions and weak foundation, which makes education and scientific research relatively backward. We hope to build a platform for teachers to study and discuss through research, promote teachers to improve their professional quality, train a group of teachers with excellent professional quality, diligent thinking and good at learning, and form a strong teaching and research atmosphere through the guidance of these teachers, so as to promote teachers to improve their own quality and promote the benign development of the school.

2. It is necessary to closely combine the practice of project research with education and teaching, and give full play to the role of project implementation in promoting school development. Educational scientific research is not an extra work independent of education and teaching, but based on the practice of school work, permeating all aspects of school work and focusing on solving practical problems in education and teaching. Therefore, each research group should carry out experimental research closely around the school work center, take subject research as the main way to solve the problems in practical work, explore in practice, improve in practice, summarize in practice, serve their own work in the implementation of the subject, and promote the improvement of school education and teaching quality.
3. We should strengthen the reflection on learning and teaching, improve our theoretical quality and promote professional development. The key to school development is teachers. "Teachers should become researchers" is the direction of teachers' professional development. 4. We should develop team spirit and attach importance to the summary and application of research methods. The teaching and scientific research of each research group has made a good start, but arduous research work is waiting for us, and many new situations and new difficulties will be encountered in the research process. I hope that the teachers of the research group can unite and cooperate closely to carry forward the team spirit; Members of the research group should have a clear division of labor, conscientiously perform research tasks and strengthen exchanges and cooperation. Our school has never undertaken the research of municipal projects. I am very glad to be invited to attend the opening lecture on the theme of "effective classroom teaching" and "characteristic class management" in Z No.1 Middle School. As we all know, a high-quality school should be embodied in the following four aspects: advanced school-running concept, scientific education management, high-quality teachers and cultivating high-quality students (noble morality, comprehensive quality, physical and mental health, innovative spirit and practical ability). As we all know, the professional level and comprehensive quality of teachers are the key to curriculum reform and graduation class teaching. This is the reason why different teachers have different effects in the same class. That's because different teachers have different teaching experience, theoretical reserves, knowledge accumulation, life experience, adaptability or the ability to control the classroom. Therefore, the cultivation of teachers, especially young teachers, is one of the key tasks of the school.
