China is a populous country, and the population problem has always been one of the key factors restricting the development of our country. According to the existing data, it is an important subject to analyze and forecast the population of China by mathematical modeling.

In recent years, some new features have appeared in the population development of China, such as the accelerated aging process, the rising sex ratio at birth, and the urbanization of rural population, which all affect the population growth of China. The National Population Development Strategy Report (appendix 1) released in early 2007 made further analysis.

There have been many studies on the population problem in China, and a great deal of data has been accumulated. Appendix 2 is part of the data collected from China Demographic Yearbook.

According to the actual situation in China and the above-mentioned characteristics of population growth, and referring to the relevant data in Appendix 2 (you can also search relevant literature and supplement new data), a mathematical model of population growth in China is established to predict the short-term and long-term trends of population growth in China.
