How to strengthen the construction of campus culture should be a problem worthy of in-depth thinking and discussion. First, some thoughts on strengthening the construction of campus culture

1. The connotation of campus culture

The construction of campus culture should include two aspects. First, the construction of hard environment, such as elegant buildings, modern teaching facilities, pleasing greening and so on. The second is the construction of soft environment, such as the environmental layout of walls, corridors and windows, the development of class culture and group room culture, and the construction of institutional culture and campus cultural activities. In the past three years, we have put forward the school motto of "respecting morality and carrying things" and the school spirit of "integrating knowledge and practice" in combination with the actual situation of the school, and solidly carried out the construction of campus culture, class culture and classroom culture, and strived to cultivate the school humanistic spirit of "respecting morality and carrying things". At present, the cultural activities of the whole school are in action, and the goal is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

2. Create a school environment with environmental construction as the carrier.

In 2005, the district government and the Education Bureau increased investment to further improve the running conditions of Nanqiao Middle School. The former Fengxian Middle School is the new site of our Nanqiao Middle School. Now, the whole school has a new look, with trees and carpets.

The gallery is decorated with portraits of celebrities, famous sayings, and humanistic warnings. It highlights the paintings and calligraphy works with students as the main body, taps students' creative potential, is close to students' hearts, and has a more educational demonstration role. There is a national flag in the classroom and a green corner in the class. According to each grade and students' cognitive level, each class establishes a theme, and the cultural layout has its own characteristics.

2. The contradiction between traditional ideas and modern consciousness.

Traditional culture affects all aspects of our social life with its tenacious vitality. Excellent traditional culture is our precious heritage and should be carried forward. However, facing the future, education must first have modern consciousness, which is manifested in the construction of campus culture. Inheriting excellent traditional culture, embodying the spirit of the times, absorbing and supplementing the nutrition of advanced culture, building a new campus culture system and cultivating a new generation with brand-new culture are glorious and arduous tasks entrusted to us by the times.
