The content includes five aspects: purpose and significance (necessity), materials and methods, results, conclusions and discussions, and key words. Generally speaking, the abstracts of academic journals should be concise, no more than 250 words, and the abstracts of dissertations can be more.
As far as my experience is concerned, I think it is good to write one or two sentences well. That is, purpose and significance: summed up in one sentence; Materials and methods: make it clear in two sentences; Results: Explain the viewpoint in no more than three sentences; Conclusion and discussion: According to the results, no more than three sentences are appropriate; Keywords: no more than three words is better.
