Is the literature review a published paper?
It counts. The review paper is very good and will be frequently cited. Some of these papers were invited by high-level journals to experienced experts. But in general, everyone knows that the level of reviewing papers is average. Usually, the tutor will let the students who are writing papers for the first time try to publish a summary first, and the journals they submit are generally low-grade. But it doesn't matter, writing a summary paper is really a long learning. Usually more than 30 papers need to be cited, but the actual number of documents that need to be referenced is much larger than 30. Good wishes!
