The measures to deal with the falsification of dissertations are as follows:
Article 1 In order to standardize the management of dissertations, promote the construction of a good style of study, improve the quality of personnel training, and seriously deal with the falsification of dissertations, these Measures are formulated in accordance with the Regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Academic Degrees and the Higher Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).
Article 2 Doctoral dissertations, master's dissertations and undergraduate dissertations (graduation design or other graduation practice links) (collectively referred to as dissertations) submitted to degree-granting units shall be handled in accordance with the provisions of these Measures.
Article 3 The fraudulent acts of dissertations mentioned in these Measures include the following situations: buying and selling dissertations or organizing the sale of dissertations; Writing or organizing dissertations for others; Plagiarism of other people's works and academic achievements; Falsifying data; There are other serious fraudulent acts of dissertation.
Article 4 An applicant for a degree shall abide by academic ethics and academic norms and independently complete the thesis under the guidance of a tutor. Article 5 A tutor shall educate the academic ethics and academic norms of the degree applicants, guide the research and writing process of the degree thesis, and examine whether the degree thesis is independently completed by them.
Article 6 Degree-conferring units shall strengthen the construction of academic integrity, improve the examination system of dissertations, clarify responsibilities, standardize procedures, and examine the authenticity and originality of dissertations.
Article 7 If the dissertation of a degree applicant is purchased, written by others, copied or forged, the degree-granting unit may cancel its qualification for applying for a degree;
If a degree has been obtained, the degree-conferring unit may revoke its degree and cancel its degree certificate according to law. The decision to cancel the qualification for degree application or cancel the degree shall be announced to the public. At least 3 years from the date of making the decision, each degree-granting unit shall not accept its degree application again.
