Objective: At present, it has become a craze for college students to find a part-time job or take an active part in social practice during holidays, and to enjoy life by taking advantage of summer jobs and practice. For most students, making money is the primary purpose of work. Some people think that earning money is not the only purpose of college students' work. Many students regard work as an opportunity to participate in social practice and improve their abilities. Many schools also actively encourage college students to get in touch with and understand society. On the one hand, they can apply their theoretical knowledge to practice and improve their abilities in all aspects. On the other hand, accumulating work experience is of great benefit to future employment. Through investigation, we can understand contemporary college students' views on social practice and analyze their life practice, so as to analyze the problems existing in college students' social practice and put forward solutions in combination with Marxist philosophy, so that college students can treat social practice correctly and learn from it. In the future practice, you can better contact the society, exercise your professional skills and find opportunities for development.
Respondents: The growth of college students is a common concern in colleges and universities. College students' social practice has become an important part of cultivating qualified college students, which cannot be ignored or abandoned. So this survey selected 50 college students, including 20 from Guangzhou University, 20 from Sun Yat-sen University 10, 5 from South China University of Technology and 5 from Guangdong University of Technology. The grades are freshman 5, sophomore 30 and junior 15 respectively.
Survey content: This survey is conducted by asking whether college students have participated in summer jobs, part-time jobs or internships, what kind of social practice they want to participate in most, whether the jobs or internships they have participated in are consistent with their majors, whether they can reflect the combination of practice and theoretical knowledge, and what they have gained in their work or internships.
Investigation method: 50 questionnaires were distributed and 50 valid questionnaires were collected. (See Appendix for the questionnaire and statistical data. )。 )
Survey results: From the survey, it is found that many college students think that part-time job is the second "classroom" for college students, and they can learn a lot of valuable things through part-time job. "Being is reasonable". There is no distinction between high and low occupations. No matter what profession has advantages and disadvantages, it depends on your own needs. Many college students feel that they can try as long as they can make money. Brand agency, promotion and other jobs that college students didn't need before have now become acceptable jobs for college students.
52% students think that if they want to participate in social practice, the ideal thing is to go to enterprises and institutions for internship and exchange, followed by part-time or part-time jobs, accounting for 40%; However, 56% of the students had a part-time job, 20% had a summer job, and 14% had an internship, indicating that only 10% had never done it. Are college students working or part-time now? In addition to tutoring (65,438+04%) and online internship (6%), more and more college students are engaged in simple jobs that do not require special skills, such as distributing leaflets, promoting goods (22%), campus sales (65,438+04%) and working as waiters in restaurants (8%). Only 38% people can apply the theoretical knowledge in university to practice, and 66% people are satisfied with their extracurricular practical ability in practice or work; 12% students think that part-time job is to prepare for finding a job in the future. When choosing the purpose of internship or part-time, 32 students choose "contact with society and accumulate work experience", accounting for 64% of the total, and "earn living expenses", accounting for 20%. Judging from the number of students, the main purpose of college students' part-time job is to make money and enrich themselves. Nowadays, college students have attached great importance to part-time jobs. Although money is a certain factor, more students should consider that the experience they hope to gain through part-time work is helpful for future employment. The flexibility of college students' working hours should be related to their relaxed learning environment. 56% people will choose to practice or work during the holidays, 30% people will choose any time when there is no class, 12% people will choose weekends. 3 1 people think that they are in favor of reasonable part-time or part-time internship on the basis of not affecting their studies, and 19 people are in favor of part-time and part-time work, and no one objects. 54% suggested that the school should provide internship opportunities in addition to vocational guidance and professional courses, 22% thought that the school should provide employment experience, 12% chose quality development and career planning.
Analysis of survey results:
In the survey, it was found that no one chose to participate in the activities of social practice "going to the countryside", indicating that compared with previous college students, contemporary college students have relatively superior learning experience, living conditions and social environment, and have not received the necessary frustration education. Therefore, their will is often fragile, their ability to overcome difficulties is poor, and they often have higher requirements for society and lower requirements for themselves. At present, college students' sense of responsibility has increasingly become a hot issue of social concern, and sense of responsibility and integrity have become two new standards for adopting talents in many places. College students' participation in social practice is an important measure to promote college students' quality education, strengthen and improve young students' ideological and political work, and guide students to grow up healthily. It is also an important way for students to contact, understand and serve the society, and to cultivate innovative spirit, practical ability and hands-on operation ability. The purpose of participating in the practice of "going to the countryside" is to support rural education and bring corresponding guidance to farmers. In line with the purpose of serving the people, at the same time, I combine the knowledge I have learned in school with my labor practice, and learn the truth of being a man and doing things from the masses, so as to know my future study, life and work. Today's college students, except some from rural areas, are mostly from cities. Often these students have a good family environment, and parents do not allow or support their children to participate in the so-called "three rural" practice activities. In this way, the purpose of improving students' quality through the practice of "going to the countryside" advocated by the school cannot be realized. In Marxist philosophy, the three views refer to world outlook, outlook on life and values, while individual world outlook, outlook on life and values are closely related. In the individual values system, life values are in a dominant position, which determines the overall value orientation and plays a guiding and restricting role in other values in the values system. Because the values of contemporary college students are mainly self-centered, they lack their own social experience and practical experience, let alone participate in the activities of "going to the countryside" to serve the people.
In addition, no one chooses to oppose college students' part-time, summer jobs or internships. Everyone thinks that as long as they can accumulate experience without affecting their studies, they can lay the foundation for their future work. For contemporary college students, it is necessary to study professional knowledge hard and constantly improve their comprehensive quality and skills in using knowledge. There are only a few short years from the beginning of college life to entering the social circle. Who doesn't want to have a place in the future society? Therefore, people think that college students must devote themselves to various practical activities inside and outside the campus, which will help to train their quality and improve their ability. Obviously, it is of irrefutable importance to the improvement of college students' comprehensive quality. Admittedly, students who have had part-time job experience seem to be more mature and have stronger social adaptability than other students, but for students, social adaptability is only one of the criteria. The main task during the university period is the construction of academic structure, that is, the construction of knowledge structure and professional structure In order to work, it will affect or even give up the study of professional knowledge, and the result is not worth the candle.
Conclusions and recommendations:
Marxist philosophy holds that practice is a realistic material activity in which people consciously transform the objective world and make some changes to external things. Practice is a human activity, and people are social people, in a certain social relationship. Therefore, practice is not an isolated behavior of a single person, but a social activity. Therefore, practice, as a stage of the long-term development of the material world, is constantly evolving in social history. The subject of practice is the people. "Going to the countryside" is the deepening development of college students' social practice in the new period, and it is a useful supplement to promote the construction of two civilizations in rural areas, which has important practical and long-term significance. Practice leads to true knowledge. Social practice is an important part of college life. Cultivating contemporary college students' sense of historical mission, social responsibility and positive mental outlook, giving full play to the educational role of practice and improving their comprehensive quality are also the criteria for testing their theoretical knowledge. Social practice not only provides a stage for college students to display their talents and self-style, but also a ladder to cultivate and exercise their comprehensive ability, and it is also a training ground for college students before they step into society and take up their jobs. Understanding the national conditions is the primary task of young people, which requires looking at 9.6 million square kilometers of land and understanding farmers who account for more than 80% of the population. Students use their vacation time to participate in the social practice activities of "going to the countryside", so that students can better understand the national conditions and get close to the society in practice, thus determining the correct direction of life. As educators in colleges and universities, if we can guide college students to turn their strong sense of mission into practical actions such as learning, service, practice and dedication, and turn actions into responsibilities, it will make college students set a higher starting point in their life trajectory. College students' sense of social responsibility, it should be said, not only helps them adapt and integrate into society quickly, but also is the only way to realize their self-worth.
All knowledge comes from practice.
