Colored-leaf plants are an important part of landscaping plants. They have many varieties and colorful colors, and are flexible and changeable in gardens. Due to the ornamental effect of different seasons, they can be reasonably matched with other plants, landscapes, buildings and other plant landscapes to form beautiful landscape effects, so they have special significance. Based on the previous research results and my own investigation findings, this paper analyzes the classification, characteristics and problems existing in the application of colored-leaf plants in garden landscape, and puts forward reasonable suggestions.
