CPPCC members suggested that the secondary school system be shortened by two years. what do you think?
The world has changed, and reform is appropriate!

For example, if it is a good medicine, the disease will change and the medicine will change; It's a shame not to change the medicine and live a long life for the people.

Since 1977 resumed the college entrance examination, the educational system and personnel training objectives have been implemented for such a long time. Naturally, there are many places that deviate from the needs of the times and talents. It is natural to reform the law to adapt to the new era! Educational reform and innovation are imperative!

I am a teacher and the ultimate educator. From the perspective of education practitioners, I represent the two tendencies held by students and share some personal views and opinions with you.

First of all, I personally agree that "Shi Bi is a famous expert in leather chemistry and a doctor of Sichuan University. He said that the proposal to shorten the school education time has been brewing for many years. " Suggestions and opinions!

1, the current academic system span is too long.

Compared with other countries, there are differences in national conditions, education and cultural background. Just look at the education system in China at that time:

Three years in kindergarten+six years in primary school+three years in junior high school+three years in senior high school+four years in university (three years) = 17+ three years in graduate school = 20 years+three years in doctor = 23 years.

Admission at the age of 6+17 = 23+ three-year postgraduate = 26+ three-year doctor = 29 years old.

For such a long time, most of them grew up in the school environment and were suspected of being divorced from society and practice! What's more, in an era of faster pace and higher technical and industrial requirements, isn't learning and exercise without social and industrial background "an armchair strategist"? !

The prime time for a person to learn and accumulate knowledge should be "before marriage", but is 26 years old the age at which most people should get married? What do students use to talk about starting a family? (Most people only fight for their father! )

One of the main reasons for designing such a long academic system at that time was the population burden: because if students were pushed to a higher school in a short time, the school might not accept it at all! Pushing into the society, the social employment capacity at that time was far from enough! Now that these problems have been basically solved or greatly improved, legal reform is imperative!

2. The boundary between popularizing knowledge learning and cultivating research-oriented talents is blurred.

On the one hand, the original long-term academic system was to comprehensively improve the comprehensive quality of talents needed by society, on the other hand, it was hoped that more high-end technical and high-quality talents would be cultivated under the background of backward culture and education at that time.

At present, our education has basically achieved popularization, and the social requirements for talents are more detailed and obvious. Therefore, continuing to apply the consistent long-term academic system is not only incompatible with the requirements of the times for talents, but also will "catch ducks on the shelves" and waste some students' time.

Take a special industry as an example. Like a teacher. From school to university, students are dealing with all kinds of teachers. "How to be a good teacher" has long been formed in their minds! Personally, I think most undergraduate colleges should shorten the academic system of universities appropriately and give students internships at least half the time!

Another example is the "welding major" in higher vocational colleges. The reality is that many schools can't provide students with an environment for practical exercise. Therefore, the school time is not proportional to the skills learned.

3. The burden of learning input and experience is too heavy.

Too long a school system will increase the financial burden of families.

Especially in universities, the tuition and living expenses are so high that our rural families really can't afford it! Often children graduate from college, and the family is basically "turned upside down"!

Many of my students give up their graduate studies and choose employment after graduation because of their family economic conditions. In the process of work, they personally think that their growth is much faster than that of graduate school, especially those who like to learn, and have already "emerged" in their own small industry circles! But unfortunately, without a "graduate degree", benefits such as salary and professional title can't be solved!

If the academic system is shortened appropriately, these students can go to graduate school and achieve higher life goals.

In addition, many students give up the opportunity of graduate study after graduation, because the employment and treatment of graduate students are not higher than that of undergraduates. The reasons for this situation are the length of the education system and the design of the education process. Although the time has been lengthened, the students' practical experience is not strictly proportional to the growth of the academic system, such as the curriculum design and the way of learning process.

Secondly, I personally object to the suggestions and opinions of Ma Min, member of the CPPCC and president of Central China Normal University:

1, the current academic system has been implemented for too long.

1977 since the resumption of the college entrance examination, kindergartens have been extended from two years to three years, and primary schools have been extended from five years to six years. The academic system has been extended. This kind of "stability" has accompanied China's education through "the first decade of resuming the college entrance examination" and "the thirty years of reform and opening up", and also ushered in our temporary new era of economic globalization. Although there have been different degrees of reform and change during the period, the essence and requirements have not changed, so it is time for an essential change that meets the requirements of the times.

2. The representative's suggestion is that educators should look at the process of educational practice.

The discovery of this proposal "Shi Bi is a famous leather chemistry expert, Ph.D., Sichuan University. He said that the proposal to shorten the school education time has been brewing for many years. " This is the practical experience of educational practitioners, which provides factual basis and indirect experience for decision-making, investigation and reform.

3. Being too cautious is conservative.

Reform is a pioneering work, don't look ahead and look back, don't be afraid of wolves and tigers!

What's more, reform is not a one-size-fits-all process, but a gradual process, not a process of total negation, but a process of inheritance and development.

Both sides have concrete teaching practice experience and sufficient theoretical basis, so how to solve it? Specific problems can be treated in a specific way.

From my practical experience as a teacher, the solution should be simple: treat specific problems specifically!

1, reduce the burden of junior high school!

Primary and junior high schools focus on cultivating children's study habits and interests! Moreover, the original population education pressure mentioned before no longer exists.

So elementary school+practice, as the plan says, six years is enough. My personal suggestion is 3+2!

2, the length of the university according to the discipline requirements and training purposes, the extension of the extension, the shortening of the shortening.

Ordinary undergraduate and graduate students personally think that four or five years is enough. If we can't meet the training requirements, we will adopt the mode of "learning+practice+learning", and we can't follow the consistent academic system! Let students work for a few years first, and then go to school for a year or two! Only in this way can we be closer to the essence of learning and realize the training goal more directly.

For some special subjects, or majors with higher training goals, you can continue to extend the study time. But the academic system should be the same as the last one, changing the consistent system! Learn after practice! But not the current practice mode!

Here we need to talk about a special school: Lakeside University founded by Ma Yun. Personally, I think it is a good attempt from the perspective of practice and experience exchange and inheritance. Is it necessary for universities to set up some such universities now?

However, the educational system reform is not a simple matter of time. First of all, it should be the reform of the content and form of teaching and learning, and then the change of time! Of course, there are also problems such as social employment.

In short, "ten years of trees, a hundred years of people"! No matter learning or talent training, we can't just rely on school study and education, but more importantly, we should continue to learn and grow in the practice of society and industry. A simple school and a long academic system can't accomplish the ultimate goal of learning and education!

The long academic system has been implemented for a long time, and many details have been divorced from the requirements of our times. We expect education to be as epoch-making as our ongoing reform!

"Young wisdom, wisdom. Be strong when you are young! " Therefore, "a century-long plan, education-oriented"! I hope our education and reform can really cultivate young talents who can realize our dream of "strengthening the country"!

One last word:

Appropriately shortening the educational system should also alleviate the problem of aging population in China, such as early employment, which may make it easier for parents to provide for the elderly. After all, today's children are faced with "the problem of providing for the elderly on both sides"!

Appropriately shortening the academic system can also appropriately alleviate the pressure of population decline. Early employment, early marriage and early childbirth, of course.

I don't know if I'm right!
