On July 30th, Li Gongpu, a famous democracy activist, was assassinated by Kuomintang agents in Kunming. On June 5438+05, Professor Wen Yiduo of The National SouthWest Associated University was also killed by several spies in the same city. His colleague's son was shot several times in the tattoo, and his life was dying. Because of the time and space connection between the two murders in Five Days in One City, because Li Hewen is both the executive committee member of the NLD Central Committee, the third largest political party in China, and because it happened in the situation of all-round civil war, the impact of this tragedy on the current situation is self-evident. This paper intends to take Wen Yiduo's assassination as a case study, which is believed to be helpful to fully grasp the relationship between the "Wenli Massacre" and the political evolution from 65438 to 0946.
The Wenli Massacre shocked the whole country. Mao Zedong and Zhu De called the families of Li Gongpu and Wen Yiduo respectively to express their deep condolences for their unfortunate death. People from all walks of life in Yan 'an held an anti-civil war and anti-espionage conference. Commander-in-Chief Zhu De delivered a speech at the conference, calling on the people of the whole country to unite and resolutely oppose the fascist civil war policy and espionage policy of the Kuomintang. In Nanking, Zhou Enlai, on behalf of the Central Committee, protested strongly to the Kuomintang delegation attending the CPPCC meeting, demanding that the National Government severely punish the murderer, bury the dead and cancel the secret service. Zhang Lan, Chairman of the NLD Central Committee, called Chiang Kai-shek from Chengdu to denounce the criminal acts of the Kuomintang. People's protests broke out all over the country one after another, setting off a struggle against civil war, persecution and democracy.
