Construction has undertaken a number of undergraduate teaching reform projects in Southwest University and won the teaching reform achievement award. The courses of functional genomics research methodology, microbial pharmacology, molecular biology, molecular immunology, microbiology, cell microbiology, functional genomics of medicinal microorganisms, DNA science and microbial physiology are taught to undergraduates and graduate students in bilingual mode, with science, nature and cells as the main teaching methods. According to the frontier and trend of international disciplines, the lecture notes of "Functional Genomics Research Methodology" and "Functional Genomics of Medicinal Microbes" were compiled. Pay attention to cultivating students' awareness of industrialization and respect for intellectual property rights in teaching, and offer English general courses on biotechnology intellectual property rights and high-tech industrialization intellectual property rights protection for bioengineering and bioscience majors and all undergraduates.
