The results show that the withdrawal of the paper has a significant negative impact on the author. Within five years after the paper was withdrawn, 45 of the 79 authors who were mainly responsible failed to publish the paper again. For the authors who bear secondary responsibility in manuscript withdrawal, manuscript withdrawal has a great influence on them. The results also show that 27.6% and 20.3% of the non-primary responsible authors failed to publish their papers again within five years after their papers were withdrawn.
Although the withdrawal did not affect the author's cooperation, the author found direct evidence that the withdrawal had a negative impact on the author. After the paper is withdrawn, the author who is not mainly responsible will also be implicated, which will have a negative impact on his career.
