PCSI (paper citation standardization index) is a new discipline standardization method designed by China Scientific Literature Metrology Evaluation Research Center in conjunction with experts in the fields of bibliometrics and mathematical statistics on the basis of studying the citation frequency distribution of scientific papers in China, which provides reference for the evaluation of academic influence of papers published in different disciplines and years.
High download papers:
Highly downloaded papers refer to papers published in domestic academic journals and domestic conferences every year, ranking in the top 1% of the total download frequency of their respective disciplines and literature types (research-oriented and review-oriented documents). That is to say, in the same year, the download frequency of papers of the same subject and the same literature type is TOP 1%, which represents a high academic influence in the field of academic research.
Highly cited papers:
Highly cited papers refer to papers published in domestic academic journals and domestic conferences every year, which rank before the total cited frequency 1% in their respective disciplines and literature types (research-oriented and review-oriented documents). That is to say, the papers with the same topic and the same literature type cited at TOP 1% in that year represent a high academic influence in the field of academic research.
