In the process of urbanization, housing construction projects have developed rapidly, and housing construction units have mushroomed, dividing up the current construction market. In the intensified housing construction project, the construction unit can only control the housing construction cost and ensure the construction quality by doing a good job in project management and cost management. This paper mainly starts with the current situation of project management and cost management of housing construction projects, analyzes their shortcomings, and then adopts corresponding strategies to ensure that urban housing construction projects can not only achieve high-speed and high-quality development, but also cater to the planning objectives of ecological and civilized cities.
