A doctoral thesis is an academic thesis written by a graduate student who is pursuing a doctoral degree. It requires the author, under the guidance of doctoral supervisor, to choose the potential research direction that he can grasp and control and open up new research fields. It can be seen that it requires the author to have a lot of theoretical knowledge in this discipline, to have a deep understanding and thinking about the theoretical knowledge of his major, and to have a considerable level of independent scientific research ability, and to be able to put forward unique opinions and valuable scientific research results in this discipline. Therefore, compared with bachelor's dissertations and master's dissertations, doctoral dissertations have higher academic value and play an important role in promoting the development of disciplines.
My understanding is that a doctoral thesis needs to have the following attributes.
1. practicality, that is, the practical problem to be solved is guidance and background;
2. Innovation means that you need to have certain opinions;
3. Theoretical, which requires a certain theoretical level;
4. Scientific, the basic concepts should be accurate and well-founded;
5. Forward-looking, combining with the frontier of discipline development;
6. Extensibility, platform structure and interface for further research;
7. Logic, which requires strict logic between chapters of the paper;
8. readability, the article should be easy for people in this field to read and understand.
