He has been engaged in teaching and research in the field of oil and gas equipment and measurement and control for a long time, and led the scientific research team to achieve a series of theoretical and technical achievements. As the project leader, he has successively undertaken more than 30 scientific research projects of the National "863" Plan, the National Natural Science Foundation, the China Petroleum Science and Technology Innovation Fund, major scientific research projects of Sichuan Province, PetroChina and Sinopec Oilfield Company. The results have reached the international leading level, creating direct economic benefits of nearly 2 billion yuan. The research achievements have successively won the Ninth Five-Year Excellent Scientific and Technological Achievement Award, the first prize, the second prize and the third prize of provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress jointly awarded by the four ministries and commissions.
