Analysis of the causes affecting the therapeutic effect of amblyopia in children? This is the title of my thesis!
Analysis of the causes affecting the therapeutic effect of amblyopia in children: amblyopia is a functional eye disease in children's visual development and a preventable and treatable visual disability [1]. The effect of amblyopia treatment is not only influenced by objective factors such as amblyopia type, fixation nature, amblyopia degree, children's age, refractive state, strabismus type and degree, but also by society, family and children. Therefore, active and appropriate treatment and training for amblyopia children in the critical period and sensitive period of visual development is very important to restore vision. 1 Factors affecting the therapeutic effect of amblyopia in children 1. 1 Social factors The prevention and treatment of amblyopia in China is unbalanced and relatively backward in small and medium-sized cities, vast rural areas and economically underdeveloped areas [2]. China has not yet established a perfect screening and follow-up system for amblyopia in infants, which makes a considerable number of amblyopia children fail to find it early and lose the best treatment opportunity. Due to the general lack of understanding of amblyopia, the harm caused by amblyopia has not attracted great attention from the whole society. 1.2 Parental factors ① Parents lack knowledge about amblyopia, fail to fully realize the harm of amblyopia, and do not pay attention to the treatment of amblyopia, which leads to insufficient supervision and cooperation in the treatment process and seriously affects the treatment effect. ② Parents often find it difficult to insist on long-term systematic treatment in the hospital because of busy work or long distance. Or parents work in other places, and the children taken care of by grandparents can't insist on treatment well or don't receive treatment at all, which delays the best time for treatment. Parents with different educational levels have different understanding of amblyopia. ③ Parents with higher education level have a higher understanding of amblyopia, and their children have a higher degree of cooperation and a better treatment effect. Parents with low education level have low awareness of amblyopia, and their children's cooperation is relatively low, and the curative effect is also poor. ④ Parents' emotions and attitudes have a great influence on children's therapeutic effect. Due to the lack of knowledge about amblyopia, some parents lack confidence and patience in their children's condition and long-term treatment, which not only affects their physical and mental health, but also affects their emotions. ⑤ Parents' compliance with treatment is closely related to the treatment effect. There is a significant correlation between parents' understanding of amblyopia and children's cooperation. Good compliance and remarkable curative effect. In the process of amblyopia treatment, many parents did not strictly follow the doctor's requirements for treatment and urged their children to persist in training, resulting in no or no improvement in vision. 1.3 Children's own factors ① Children are young and lack sufficient knowledge about the harm of amblyopia. In addition, the inconvenience caused by wearing glasses and blindfolding often makes them unable to cooperate with the treatment well. In the process of wearing glasses and hiding, I often peep, even without glasses, which seriously affects the therapeutic effect. Children in kindergartens and schools wear eyes to report.
