The distance tracking is incorrect. Incorrect range tracking of radar C-mode altitude error causes altitude error, because the main causes of altitude error are "flying point" caused by air pressure, error caused by incorrect range tracking, error caused by radar sidelobe tracking and "flying point" caused by gain reduction caused by frequency offset. Radar means "radio detection and ranging", that is, finding the target by radio and determining its spatial position.
