Many people say that learning requires IQ, and geniuses become geniuses because they have smart brains-but I don't think so. Learning does require IQ, but learning requires diligence. Geniuses can become geniuses because they use one percent of their intelligence, and the remaining 99 percent is their diligence.
Some people say that even if you are diligent, you can't succeed without IQ. That's true. Without IQ, no matter how hard you work, it will be difficult to succeed. And how many people in this era lack IQ? Very few. Since everyone has an IQ, why are there so few successful people? This is the point, diligence.
Take my personal experience as an example.
Like everyone else, I'm not stupid, and I have an IQ. I also achieved excellent results in the first monthly exam by relying on these IQs. Praised by teachers and loved by classmates. Unfortunately, the good times did not last long. As I learned more and more knowledge, my wisdom gradually became insufficient, and my grades immediately declined.
So, I began to reflect on myself, why did my grades plummet? Soon, I found the reason-I am not diligent. Reading is like farming. No pains, no gains. You can't get good results with that little nutrition. Therefore, I must work hard so that I can have a good harvest.
I once read a short story about Newton on a website. Everyone thinks that a great scientist like Newton must have a very high IQ. Yes, Newton's IQ is really high, but he also paid a lot.
How many people will study deeply because they are hit in the head by a mere apple? There is only one, and that is Newton. Newton's discovery of gravity made great contributions to science. There is no doubt that he is a very successful scientist. Everyone knows that Newton is very clever, but who knows how many times he was hit on the head by an apple because of his research attraction, or someone may ask him how many times he was hit on the head, and he will forget the answer.
But who knows how many dangerous experiments Newton did and worked day and night because of the attraction of his research? Not many people know. So personal success is not because of his wisdom, but because of his diligence.
How important it is to be diligent! It can determine a person's success or failure. If you want to be a genius, you must rely on that 99% sweat. So, let's be a diligent person and open our bright road to success!
