Introduction to Taoism in northern Shaanxi
Daoqing in northern Shaanxi is an ancient Chinese drama. Daoqing art occupies an important position in China Han rap art and opera art. According to the statistics of 20 provinces and regions in the north and south, there are still more than 90 kinds of folk songs and Daoqing. Among them, 4 kinds of songs, 3 kinds of shadow play, 70 kinds of rap and drama 13 kinds. Shanxi is an area where Taoist art is popular. From the genre point of view, there are more than a dozen ballads such as northern Shanxi, southern Shanxi, Yangcheng, eldest son and Taiyuan. From the perspective of drama types, there are Taoist feelings in northern Shanxi, Taoist feelings in western Shanxi (Linxian is also called Taoist feelings) and Taoist feelings in Hong and Zhao. On May 20th, 2006, Daoqing in northern Shaanxi was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
