Physical properties of bearing steel;

The physical properties of bearing steel mainly include microstructure, decarburized layer, nonmetallic inclusions and macrostructure. Usually, products are delivered by hot rolling annealing and cold drawing annealing.

The delivery status should be indicated in the contract. The macroscopic structure of steel must be free from shrinkage cavity, subcutaneous bubbles, white spots and micropores. Central porosity and general porosity shall not exceed 1.5 grade, and segregation shall not exceed 2 grade.

The annealing structure of steel should be fine pearlite with uniform distribution. The depth of decarburized layer, non-metallic inclusions and carbide inhomogeneity shall conform to relevant national standards.
