Introduction to Chinese Academy of Sciences University:

The school was formerly the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences, with pilot program 1963. The Graduate School of the Chinese University of Science and Technology was formally established 1978. It is the first graduate school in New China approved by the State Council, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. 1982, China Academy of Sciences approved the use of the names of graduate schools of China Academy of Sciences and China University of Science and Technology.

From June 5 to February 2000, the State Council Academic Degrees Committee and Ministry of Education approved the name of the school as Graduate School of China Academy of Sciences. In 2005, the Management Cadre College of China Academy of Sciences merged.
