The equality of civil rights and the right to education is a basic constitutional right. In the process of enrollment in colleges and universities in China, the equal rights enjoyed by citizens are not fully guaranteed, which leads to the illegal violation of citizens' equal rights. At present, the number of such cases in the field of judicial practice has increased, which has aroused widespread concern in the whole society.

How to fully guarantee citizens' equal right to be admitted is a complex theoretical and practical problem. This paper consists of seven parts.

In the first part, several cases lead to the reality that the right to equality in education is easily violated in college enrollment, and put forward the relevance and necessity of taking seriously and fully protecting the public's right to equality in education in the process of college enrollment.

Firstly, it discusses how to improve the self-admission legal system of citizens' equal rights protection from legislation. Secondly, it discusses how to make a brief explanation through administrative reconsideration in the administrative system. The last chapter is the focus of this part, which discusses in detail how to guarantee citizens' equal right to education in the field of judicial practice. Among them, administrative litigation and unconstitutional review are discussed in detail. Finally, the possibility of protecting education equality through civil rights is briefly discussed.

The last part is the conclusion. On the basis of summarizing the main contents and viewpoints mentioned above, this part expounds how to ensure citizens' equal access to school, and looks forward to the current situation and the need for further research on the protection of equal rights in education.
