Considering the social demand for information management talents, the school conditions of our school, especially the teachers of this major, the characteristics of this major are currently oriented to the cultivation of information management talents and the development and use of information system (including e-commerce) talents. Reasons for not setting the major direction: 1) The major direction has been relatively narrow, and further division is not conducive to students' employment, because the employment direction of students in this major has been relatively wide in recent years; 2) Although there is no direction, the future development is considered in the curriculum setting, and more online courses and e-commerce courses are offered, which can increase the direction of e-commerce when the time is ripe; 3) At present, the professional teachers are weak. After several years of talent introduction, the situation of talent introduction is not ideal, but there is a phenomenon of brain drain (postgraduate entrance examination, transfer).

Second, the direction of cultivation

Our training goal is to cultivate "applied senior management talents with strong information management ability, information system design and management ability, certain practical ability and innovation ability, who can engage in information management work such as analysis, design, implementation and evaluation of information systems or e-commerce systems in state departments, industrial and commercial enterprises, financial institutions, scientific research units and network companies at all levels". This is because information management talents and information system talents serve senior managers, and we emphasize students' graduation.

Third, strengthen the collective integration of classes to meet the requirements of cultivating students with wide caliber and thick foundation.

In order to achieve professional characteristics and training objectives, we have set up a corresponding team system, which meets the requirements of wide caliber and thick foundation. For this major, it is required to master more management knowledge and have solid computer application knowledge. One is the basic courses of information management, such as management, applied statistics, accounting, marketing, operational research, information management, production and operation management, information economics (optional), strategic management (optional), information organization and retrieval, financial management (optional), and the other is information system courses. Such as object-oriented programming, data structure, database principle and application, information system analysis and design, information system project management, management decision and decision support system, etc. The other kind of e-commerce courses, considering the future professional development direction, can be said to be the information system direction under the network economy, including: e-commerce, computer network, advanced programming, web page design and production, supply chain management, customer relationship management, etc.

Fourthly, cultivate students' practical ability and innovative ability.

Many computer application courses have been offered in this major, and four years' continuous computer training has been realized. Through curriculum integration, object-oriented programming combined with VB language, database principle combined with large-scale database language, information system analysis and design combined with VFP, advanced programming introduced DELPHI and ASP, students can choose the appropriate language to serve the enterprise in designing and maintaining information systems according to the actual situation of the unit.

At the same time, it has set up many practical links such as accounting, applied statistics, operational research, computer composition principle, object-oriented programming, database principle and application, information system analysis and design, computer network, e-commerce, advanced programming, website design and production, management decision and decision support system. In addition to the necessary graduation practice and graduation design, there are database system curriculum design, information system curriculum design, business website curriculum design and social practice.

In addition, elective courses such as economic and trade thesis writing, graduation thesis writing and defense, and entrepreneurship management are offered to cultivate students' innovative ability.

Fifth, strengthen foreign language teaching.

College English was offered two years ago, and the bilingual course Information Resource Management was offered in the third year. In the fourth year, the related online language learning and online course learning contained a lot of English knowledge and English professional terms.
