What are the retrieval methods?
Four kinds.

1. literature type selection: on the literature query page, "literature type selection" lists all kinds of literature databases that can provide users with queries in this system. This is a required option. You can select one project, multiple projects or all projects. The system has the function of cross-database retrieval, and can retrieve documents in multiple databases at the same time.

2. Query Range Selection: this is a single choice. You can select any item such as author, title, abstract, keyword, classification number or full-text search, and ensure that the system will search the corresponding field in the database. The full-text search option can search all fields in the database.

3. Query Year Selection: used to select the publication year of the document to be queried. The selected year is equivalent to 65438+1 October1to 65438+February 3 1, and the default time is all years.

4. Enter a search term: you can enter a single word closely related to the query subject to search, or you can combine with "AND", "OR" or "NOT" to form a more complex logical search formula. For example, if you want to find a paper on computer-aided design, you can use the Chinese phrase "computer-aided design" or the English abbreviation "CAD" to express it.

Matters needing attention in retrieval

Literature retrieval needs to constantly change keywords and retrieval formulas, and try repeatedly in different databases to obtain the most comprehensive literature information.

If there are too few retrieval results obtained by a certain retrieval method, we can consider adding synonyms or synonyms to expand the retrieval scope. For example, physical fitness in recent years is also called physical fitness. If we only use the word "constitution" to search, many documents about constitution and physical fitness can't be searched. If the content of the search results is too much, you can use the logical symbol "and" to narrow the search scope.
