How to Cultivate Pupils' Interest in Physical Education
Interest is the psychological tendency of human beings to know things and engage in various activities. Comenius said: "Interest is one of the main ways to create a happy and bright educational environment." However, under the guidance of the old traditional sports development thought, physical education teachers often do not consider students' basic advantages and disadvantages, and do not consider students' individual needs. This monotonous learning process seriously leads to the inhibition of students' self-expression ability and hobbies, and their learning enthusiasm is not high. This paper attempts to explore ways to stimulate students' interest in sports according to the characteristics of primary school students' interest in learning sports, so as to improve the teaching quality of school physical education class.

In physical education teaching, the important purpose of cultivating and stimulating students' interest in sports is to improve students' enthusiasm for learning in physical education class. How to stimulate students' interest in physical education? I have the following views for colleagues' reference only.

1. Wonderful introduction to stimulate interest

"Everything is difficult at the beginning" A good beginning is half the battle. Wonderful classroom lead-in can not only focus students' attention quickly, but also stimulate students' interest in class.

1. Encourage language introduction and stimulate interest.

In physical education teaching, we have been following the old teaching model, and the systematic language introduction can no longer meet the spiritual needs of modern students, but the enlightening language introduction can arouse students' interest. After explaining the teaching content and teaching objectives before, I just hope that students can complete the task of this class. I often ask questions in class to interest students. For example, in the course of anti-terrorism and peacekeeping, I will ask, "Are you confident to complete this lesson and become an anti-terrorism elite?" The students will answer "yes" loudly. 4. Cooperation and competition stimulate interest

Create competitive situations in teaching, especially show yourself in cooperative competition. In my teaching, I teach students to make full use of each group member's respective advantages, study in the group, help each other, learn from each other, unite and cooperate, observe and evaluate each other, and achieve common improvement.

5. Pay attention to feedback and stimulate interest

In the process of learning, it is an important part to pay attention to the feedback between teachers and students, so that students can know themselves and their teachers. Teachers understand students' communication platform. In class, students can know whether the teacher is dissatisfied or praised by an expression and an action of the teacher.
