Qing dynasty costumes: Qing dynasty costumes
The costumes of the Qing Dynasty are generally the traditional forms of the Ming Dynasty. Many of the costumes preserved in the Forbidden City are exquisitely crafted and beautifully patterned. For example, the black hat in the Ming Dynasty is used as an official hat, and the supplementary newspaper is used as an official costume. There are also some fashionable costumes, such as arrow clothes, mandarin jackets, waistcoats and short jackets, which are all mixed and matched. According to incomplete statistics, there are dozens or even hundreds of styles of costumes in Qing Dynasty, and there are still differences among regions, operas, periods and troupes. But in general, python, wallet, lean, fold, official clothes and so on are the most commonly used.

Python is the most distinguished costume. The style is round neck, big belly, inserted on both sides, and sleeves at the cuffs. The design of pythons varies according to the identity and personality characteristics of the characters. The picture shows the ancient python.

The picture shows the embroidered gown in Kangxi costumes in Qing Dynasty, with double-breasted and open sides, reaching to the knee (in kind).

The picture shows the embroidered dance skirt (court dress). The style is that the top is connected with the lower skirt, which is a two-layer ribbon skirt with several layers of lace at the sleeve end and covered with cloud shoulders.
