First, the basic meaning of college students' dormitory culture construction

The so-called dormitory culture, specifically, refers to the sum of a series of situations such as values, emotions, culture and education created in the dormitory area with students as the main object. Generally speaking, the content of dormitory culture is mostly included in extracurricular activities, and its core is campus spirit, which is created and enjoyed by college students collectively [1]. Fundamentally speaking, dormitory culture is also an important part of the whole school's study style and school spirit construction. In the dormitory group, members will promote and influence each other.

Second, the basic functions of college students' dormitory culture

(1) Guidance function

The individual life of college students in the dormitory is often influenced by dormitory members. Usually, when the dormitory is positive as a whole, the individuals in the dormitory tend to be positive. On the contrary, if the dormitory group is negative, the dormitory members are generally negative. Therefore, the overall atmosphere of the dormitory will play a guiding role for the individuals in the dormitory.

(2) Normative function

The overall cultural construction of dormitory will play a certain role in standardizing the individual writing of dormitory members, and to a certain extent, it can help dormitory members standardize their own behaviors, develop good living habits and form a healthy and positive value system. In addition, make use of all available platforms to actively advocate the construction of dormitory culture, so that students can realize the importance and significance of dormitory culture construction and establish a sense of ownership. If the students in the dormitory are lively and cheerful, then the dormitory will naturally form a relatively free and United atmosphere. If the dormitory members are dull as a whole, their living habits are not good, and there is always constant friction in their daily lives, then the corresponding dormitory will form a gloomy environment. However, the construction of dormitory culture is not a one-off event, but a systematic project [4]. In the past, we have organized different forms of dormitory cultural activities, such as dormitory photo wall, class exhibition board, dormitory honor list, dormitory cultural festival, etc. But these activities are basically relatively broad forms of activities, which have also promoted the construction of dormitory culture in colleges and universities to some extent, but they lack certain accuracy, scientificity and systematicness.

1, establish systematic regulations on the management of dormitory culture construction. As far as the current situation is concerned, in most colleges and universities in China, counselors are responsible for dormitory management, but the things that counselors usually care about are relatively complicated. Therefore, in many cases, counselors can only manage some superficial work such as dormitory hygiene discipline, but can't go into students' hearts, change a student's concept ideologically, improve students' ideological cognitive level, stand in students' perspective, think for students, and really do the work where students need it most. Moreover, some lectures and competitions on dormitory culture construction can be held regularly to further clarify these activities in the system. Only this institutionalized operation mode can ensure the benign operation of dormitory culture construction activities.

2. Abandon the previous evaluation mechanism which only used health as the evaluation standard, and adopt the multi-index comprehensive evaluation method. In the daily management of school affairs, we find that when students skip classes, they often take the dormitory as the unit, which fully shows that the influence of dormitory roommates is very strong. Therefore, when we evaluate the dormitory, we should look at the situation of a dormitory in an all-round way and abandon the past evaluation model that only takes the sanitary situation as the evaluation index. 3. The performance indicators of dormitory members and the whole dormitory should be integrated as the basis for evaluation. In the dormitory appraisal work, we should not only look at the individual academic achievements, moral standards and achievements in competitions of dormitory members, but also look at the overall atmosphere of the dormitory, because everyone living in the dormitory will be affected by the overall atmosphere of the dormitory and will also affect the people around him.

(3) When building dormitory culture, we should pay attention to the management of construction objectives.

In the construction of dormitory culture, management by objectives can be adopted. For example, we can set a phased goal for the dormitory, such as passing CET-4 in the first semester and CET-6 in the second semester.
