Zhoushan is located in the East China Sea of China, south of the Yangtze River estuary, and on the outer edge of Hangzhou Bay. Zhoushan Archipelago consists of Shengsi Archipelago, Ma 'an Archipelago, Rugged Archipelago, Chuanhu Archipelago, Zhongjieshan Archipelago, Langgangshan Archipelago, Qizi Bamei Archipelago, Volcano Archipelago and Mei Archipelago.
