Larry A. Samovar, a professor at the School of Communication at San Diego State University, is an authoritative figure in cross-cultural communication research and writing. He has published more than 100 academic papers at conferences at home and abroad, with as many as 13 books. Samovar is keen on social activities and has long been a consultant to the government and the private sector. Richard E.
