Chen Baoquan, executive director of China Computer Federation and director of Youth Working Committee, dean of School of Software of Shandong University, dean of School of Computing Science and Technology, distinguished professor of Yangtze River, doctoral supervisor. His research interests are 3D acquisition of large-scale urban scenes and visualization of massive data, and he has published more than 100 papers in international conferences and publications such as ACM SIGGRAPH, IEEE VIS and ACM TOG. He is currently a member of the editorial board of IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, a member of the steering committee of IEEE VIS, the top conference in visualization field, and a member of the steering committee of SIGGRAPH Asia, the top conference in computer graphics field. He is the chairman of SIGGRAPH Asia 20 14, and introduced the conference to Chinese mainland for the first time; He was also the chairman of the IEEE Visualization Conference in 2005 and the chairman of the Project Committee in 2004. The patented technology of visual software and hardware has been authorized by GE, Mitsubishi, TeraRecon and Viatronix. In 2008, he returned to China from the United States to join Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, founded the Visual Computing Research Center, and served as the director and deputy director of Digital Research Institute.
