The study of world marine politics is a major flaw in the study of international issues in China. In reality, the threat of maritime security has become an important challenge that affects and restricts China's national security and peaceful development. In theory, World Ocean Politics and China Ocean Development Strategy selects geopolitics theory, interdependence theory and international law theory, and summarizes the main theories of world ocean politics research. In the study of power politics, it mainly focuses on the historical reflection on the experience and lessons of the development of world sea power. In the study of international system, we mainly choose territorial sea, exclusive economic zone and continental shelf system, reveal the complicated political process of struggle and compromise around the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, and analyze the interactive relationship between China and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. From the perspective of international relations, the task of China's marine strategy is mainly to safeguard national maritime security, defend national maritime rights and interests, and ensure the country's marine living space. China's ocean strategy should mainly focus on dealing with ocean issues in the relations between China, the United States, China, Japan, China and ASEAN countries around the South China Sea.
