The erection method of steel beams is generally considered in the design. Therefore, the installation of steel beams should be carried out according to the construction drawing.

(1) Installation method

When installing steel beams on site, the installation method should be selected according to the span size, river conditions and hoisting capacity. Common erection methods in cities are as follows:

(2) Inspection before installation

① Check the strength, rigidity and stability of temporary structures such as temporary supports, supports, cranes and steel beam structures themselves under different stress states;

(2) Before installation, the abutment, pier top elevation, center line and span of each hole shall be retested, and the error shall be within the allowable deviation;

(3) Check the components and parts according to the component list, and check the product factory certificate and material quality certificate.

(3) Installation points

(1) During the installation of steel beams, the position, elevation and pre-camber shall be measured after each section is completed, and it shall be corrected in time if it does not meet the requirements;

(2) The on-site welding connection of steel beam members must be carried out in the designed order. Unless otherwise specified, the welding sequence shall be from mid-span to both ends in the longitudinal direction and from midline to both sides in the transverse direction.

(3) Before the steel beams are connected by high-strength bolts, the anti-slip coefficient of the friction surface should be reinspected, and the high-strength bolt connection vice should randomly check at least 8 groups of torque coefficients in each batch according to the factory batch number. The through holes shall be unblocked, and shall not be forced to pass through, and the direction of passing through shall be consistent throughout the bridge. The tightening sequence starts from the place where the plate bundle has large stiffness and large gap, and tightens outward from the center, and should be tightened last on the same day. When tightening, impact tightening and intermittent tightening shall not be adopted. Before and after the steel beam falls, the camber and plane size of the building should be checked and recorded. Correct the position of the bracket.
