A Study of China Minority Literature
China's ethnic minority literature heritage is rich, and scholars in past dynasties have made in-depth research on individual chapters. Among ethnic minorities, there are also many research works on literary theory. However, the comprehensive study of minority literature is still a weak link. 1958 formally put forward the concept of "minority literature". In the 1960s, the literary history of some nationalities was published. The study of minority literature really began after the Cultural Revolution. 1978, textbook compilation and academic seminar of Selected Works of China Minority Literature was held. After the meeting, Selected Works of China Minority Literature was published. 1June, 979, China Minority Literature Society was established. 1980 the institute of minority literature of China academy of social sciences was established, and published the research quarterly "research on ethnic literature". Since the 1980s, great progress has been made in the study of minority literature, showing new characteristics: ① The research team has been expanding continuously. The main forces are distributed on three fronts: first, the research institutions of minority literature in various provinces and autonomous regions; Second, the folk literature and art research associations in various provinces and regions; The third is ethnic liberal arts colleges, especially ethnic colleges. There are some professionals in all walks of life. (2) The research topic is deepening. The fields and topics have been continuously expanded and further developed. On the premise of applying Marxist methodology, we will constantly improve our research methods. The research methods of comparative literature have been paid attention to. Structuralism and system theory are also tried by researchers. ③ Produce a batch of theoretical research results. First of all, the compilation of literature history of all ethnic groups and literature investigation have made rapid progress. China Minority Literature, edited by Mao Xing, is the first large-scale monograph in China history that comprehensively and systematically describes 55 kinds of minority literature in China. In addition, there are monographs and papers focusing on the research results of ethnic minority literature, such as Introduction to Ethnic Minority Folk Literature, Basic Theory of Ethnic Folk Literature, Preliminary Study on the Development of Dai Poetry, Song Haijiman, Introduction to Zhuang Folk Songs, etc. China minority literature has attracted more and more foreign scholars' attention.
