Reference is an important part of academic papers, and its function is well known. However, although the state has promulgated the national standard (GB/T 77 14-2005: the rules for the description of references after the article), on the one hand, some requirements of the national standard are unclear, and some may be unreasonable; On the other hand, the editorial department may not pay enough attention to this. At present, different journals have different requirements for the format of references. This has brought unnecessary trouble to the author. First of all, different journals should use different bibliography formats. Especially when a manuscript is rejected by one journal and submitted to another, a lot of meaningless revisions are needed.

The writing methods of references are as follows:

1. Recommended author year.

2. All authors should be listed.

3. The first and last names of China authors in western literature should be spelled completely.

4. In the precipitated literature, the words "see" and "in" are still used before the collected works, instead of "∨";

5. "~" is still used between the starting and ending page numbers, serial numbers and issue numbers of published periodicals.

7. Always use colons before the beginning and end of page numbers.
