All courses of basic courses are set according to the requirements of undergraduate courses. In addition, an independent undergraduate examination plan has been set up for non-law graduates and above.

Where the state recognizes all kinds of institutions of higher learning (including self-taught) graduates majoring in law and above, they can directly apply for undergraduate courses in law; College graduates majoring in prison management must take the Civil Procedure Law (0243) to apply for law undergraduate courses.

Candidates over the age of 35 can apply for exemption from foreign language examination, but they must take 3-4 courses, not less than 14 credits. After completing all the examination plans, those who are exempt from taking foreign languages will only be awarded undergraduate diplomas, not degrees.

Graduation thesis is a compulsory part of undergraduate study. Candidates can register to write their graduation thesis twice a year (except those who are exempt from taking foreign languages) if there are only two courses left in this major and the foreign language has passed.

The thesis should be completed independently by the candidates under the guidance of the tutor, with clear views, reasonable structure, well-founded discussion and fluent writing; The length of the paper is generally around 8000 words. The thesis is reviewed and defended by the examiner's school.
