The Saad system can protect most parts of South Korea and Japan from long-range strategic missiles. It covers the whole North China area of China. In other words, it can detect almost all missile launches in northeast China. It is also possible to intercept and destroy the missiles with American missiles after they are launched (even if they are still in China). In this way, China lost the initiative in the North China War.

"Sade" is an important part of the new missile defense plan of the United States, which consists of interceptor, vehicle-mounted launcher, ground radar and battle management and command, control, communication and intelligence system (BM/C3 1). Its interceptor is 6. 17m long, with a maximum diameter of 0.37m, a take-off weight of 900kg and a maximum speed of 2,500m/s. It mainly intercepts ballistic missiles with a range of 3,500km by direct impact. The maximum interception height and interception distance are 150km and 300km respectively, and the defense radius is about 200km. "Sade" system technology has a high starting point and high risks. It is the only ground-based system that can intercept ballistic missiles inside and outside the atmosphere, so its operational technical performance has unique characteristics.

The Saad system has a range of 300 kilometers and can defend an area with a radius of 200 kilometers, while Patriot 2 has an anti-missile range of only 15 kilometers and Patriot 3 has only 30 kilometers. The Israeli Arrow system, which is also a high altitude terminal defense system, intercepts 90 kilometers, and the protection area is only 1/5 of Sadr's. Therefore, "Patriot" is called point defense system, while "Sade" is an area defense system, which is mainly used to protect large strategic areas and targets, and to protect the United States, allied forces, population centers and key facilities from short-and medium-range ballistic missiles. This system is also favored by Israel, Japan and other countries. Several sets of "Sade" systems can completely cover these countries, which is equivalent to the "national missile defense" system.
