at a distance
The scenery in the distance always has a different charm. Standing by the river of life, the seemingly unreachable shore tempts us to set out and appreciate the flowers on the other shore. Some people flinch before the rough waves, others are afraid of losing, afraid that the road is too long to reach, and dare not take the first step. In fact, the other side is not far away. As long as we fight for our ideals, we will arrive one day.

Ideal is like a ship, and action is the paddle and sail on it. People with ideals in their hearts are not afraid of stormy waves and long journeys. They sailed through the waves. Even if the journey is full of sweat, even if the road is full of difficulties, they are willing to forge ahead and engrave their struggles in life.

1492 In August, Columbus led his fleet all the way to the west, exploring unknown places, and completed the feat of crossing the Atlantic with three large sailboats. The front is full of unpredictable hardships, but Columbus and the sailors persisted from one danger to another with ideals, and finally discovered the new continent through hardships. Explorers in the era of great navigation always have admirable exploration spirit. It was an era without global positioning and automatic navigation, but they set sail for the other side without hesitation, telling people with ideals and actions that the other side is not far away. They reached their distant places and expanded the boundaries of human footsteps.

Looking back at history, I see people who practice their ideals, such as pearls, shining in the picture of years, and seeing their figures on the road in towards the distant. Nobel, who invented explosives, persevered after repeated failures. Maxwell, who popularized radio communication, persisted in his opinion even when he hit a wall everywhere, not to mention the patriots who gave their lives and shed their blood for the rejuvenation of the motherland in China. They never slacked off, never feared, and finally reached the other side of success.

"Who says a river is wide and a reed hangs on it?" For those who are willing to struggle for their ideals and realize them with actions, the distance is an attainable goal, and the other side is a scenery not far away.
