Click the view in word and select the navigation mode to display the table of contents on the left.

The computer opens Word, and then completes the directory to be displayed. After opening Word and making a table of contents, click the View option in the toolbar. After entering the view page, check the navigation pane options in the display. When the navigation pane option is selected, you can find the table of contents in the edge document.
