It is a second-level college of Hubei Light Industry Vocational and Technical College, a full-time general higher vocational college directly under the Hubei Provincial Department of Education, one of the German Hans Saidel Foundation's vocational education cooperation projects in China, and the first college in China to offer beer brewing specialty. The college has an influential team of old, middle-aged and young teachers in the beer industry at home and abroad.
