According to the Guiding Opinions of the Ministry of Education on the Proposition of Landscape Architecture Basic Examination in the 20 10 Full-time Postgraduate Entrance Examination for Landscape Architecture, combined with the situation of teachers and examination subjects in our school, the basic subjects of landscape architecture in our school mainly include the following three aspects of knowledge or ability:
I. History of Landscape Architecture (50 points)
Including the history of classical gardens in China, the history of foreign gardens and the history of modern landscape gardens.
1. History of classical gardens in China: including the development process of China gardens from the emergence period to the maturity period, the layout and characteristics of important gardens, important gardening ideas and their representative figures and monographs;
2. History of foreign gardens: including the historical background of the formation of ancient Egypt, ancient Persia, European Renaissance and Baroque gardens, the layout and characteristics of important gardens, important gardening ideas and their representative figures and monographs;
3. The development history of modern landscape architecture: the ideological trend of modern landscape architecture development, major events and their background and realistic influence, main representatives and their thoughts.
