After graduating from high school, he studied in the fine arts major of Hebei Light Industry Fine Arts School, and then studied in the Department of Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Master's Class of Calligraphy of Capital Normal University. He studied under Su Ru Liu Gengtang, the first teacher, and Xuandaoping, a famous scholar in Hebei Province, and later under Mr. Li Tianma, an old calligrapher in Shanghai, and Mr. Li Keran, a master of Chinese painting. Concurrently engaged in calligraphy, painting creation and art history research.

He is currently a member of China Calligraphers Association, China Aesthetics Society, China Poetry Society, art consultant of China Painting Academy in Bangkok, Thailand, and adjunct professor of Qufu Normal University. He once taught in the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and now he is a professional painter in the Chinese Painting Research Institute.
