Fossils of slender raptors
Fossils of Chinese ornithosaurus and Microraptor were found in the lowest layer of Yixian Formation and in the upper layer. Among Chironomidae fossils in good fossil state, Papilio gracilis is the earliest. Chironomidae fossils can be traced back to the Middle Jurassic, but most of them only have teeth.

Atherosaur gracilis is an early pterodactylidae, which has the same characteristics as early pterodactylidae and pterodactylidae, and it is confirmed that there is a close genetic relationship among them.

Type species is the Lujiatun scarab, described by Xu Xing and Wang Xiaolin. It is considered to be another close relative of Microraptor, and it also lived in Cretaceous China. The fossil of Microraptor was found in the Jiufotang Formation in a later age.

The type specimen number is ivpp v 13474, and the fossil includes an incomplete maxilla with several teeth. Several coccygeal vertebrae, almost complete forelimbs and partial hind limbs.
