Excel in WPS cannot automatically sum after selecting a column, and can operate in the following ways:

1. Open the table that cannot be automatically summed, as shown in the figure. Although there is a numerical value, there are 9 cells in the count, but the sum =0.

2. Click Ribbon Format-Convert text to numeric values.

3. Click on this column, and the status bar below will automatically sum normally. You can also use the automatic summation of banded formulas. You can get the same result.

In the WPS table of extended data, if the format of numerical value is set to text, the system will ignore the "numerical value" in the text format when summing and will not be included in the calculation.

So, if you can't sum, or if there is a problem in calculating the value, you can consider whether to set the value as text format and convert the cell format.
